Do I get free help with getting started?

Absolutely! We’re here and always available to help. To give you some insight on what we can help you with, here are some examples:

Can I export my content if I want to move my website somewhere else?

Yes. It’s super easy to export your content and take it anywhere and everywhere with you.

If you need help exporting your content, just get in touch with our experts, and we’ll send you an XML file that has all your content on it. We use XML as it’s the most commonly used website content format out there.

How do I get a custom website design?

With our Classic and Plus plan, you already get a ready-to-use website template that you’ll surely love! It’s all free of charge, meaning no upsells will be presented to you, ever.

We understand that while this may not be the best solution for you, we are able to help you build your custom website design as long as you’re on our Premier plan.

Can I use BrandEngine if I'm outside the United States?

Yes. International businesses are more than welcome to use BrandEngine. Matter of fact, we have current customers who are based outside the United States. 

Our user interface and documentation, and even our help videos are available in English to make things easier.

What happens to my old website after switching to BrandEngine?

We will build, perform quality testing, and host your new website on our own servers, which isn’t connected to your old website.

This means no downtime for you, and you can leave your old website up and running for as long as you want.

Can I add new pages myself?

Yes. You can add as many new pages, posts and store products as you want, whenever you want. There is no limit to how many pages or posts you can have.

How easy it is to update my website?

Very easy! We put a lot of effort to make things quick and easy. You can easily make website updates, edit to make changes, add photos and videos in just a few clients.

We have a visual builder that will let you see how your content will be displayed on your site as you do it.

To make things even easier, we have a huge collection of high quality video tutorials to show you how to use and manage your own website. If you still have questions, we’re happyo to help!

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. You can use any custom domain that you own, like, www.yourcompany.com. When you sign up, you’ll get a temporary domain assigned for your website.

When you’re ready to launch, we can help you connect your custom domain of choice.

If you don’t have a domain name, you can easily grab one from any of our chosen providers that you’ll find on our Help Center.

Can my website have a RSS feed?

Yes. Your website will have its own RSS feed. Your RSS feed address will live on yourdomain.com/feed. This page will automatically list all of your published blog posts to give your customers easy access to your content.

Can I use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool?

Yes. Your website comes with pre-built analytics installed on your website. However, if you’d like to use something else, we’re more than happy to install it for you.

Simply send us the snippet and we’ll install it for your website.

I'm a consultant/reseller. Can I use your services to provide websites to my clients?

Yes! We’d love to provide your clients awesome websites! We’ll even handle customer service and provide them an extensive support library filled with video tutorials and written documentation.

You’ll also have access to the following:

Consultant-level access: You’ll be the primary account owner and choose what level of access/control you’d like your customers to have for their website. All of your client websites belong to your account and can easily be transferred to your client or to someone else, if applicable.

Client access: Your client will have access to grant you administrator access to manage the website.

Yes. You can swithch, upgrade, downgrade or cancel if you don’t like us, any time.

What if my website gets hacked?

We secure your website for you. In the unlikely event that you get hacked, we’ll fix it for free.

We back up your website daily so you won’t have to worry about any data loss.

That’s right, nobody else offers this at the rate of free. You’d pay others to hundreds or thousands of dollars to get your site fixed. We’d like to think that your plan includes a built-in business insurance policy.

Can I put videos on my website?

Yes! Simply upload your videos to Youtube, Vimeo, Wistia, or any other video hosting service.

Do you offer email services?

Yes. We strive to be an all-in-one marketing platform for your business. This means that you won’t have to pay a dime for email services.

You’ll get up to 5 email addresses for free. We use a third-party email provider to make this happen for you. 

Simply ask us using the chat to get this activated for you. This normally takes up to 96 hours to get properly set up.

Can I change the color of my website?

Yes. All website designs are easy to customize. Simply pick a color from our color picker tool inside our visual builder, so you can change your website color in just a few clicks.

Can I sell stuff on my website?

Yes. You’re welcome to sell products, services, and even generate invoices using our Freshbooks integration.

If you want to have your own eCommerce store, we advise that you grab our Premier plan so we can give you the best type of server that can easily handle the load for your online store.

How can I migrate my old website?

If you need help transferring over content from your old website, just let us know and we can help you out.

We don’t charge you anything for this. We simply do it for free, however, we only do this if you’re already subscribed to any of our paid plans.

To get started, simply contact us.

Do I need to buy web hosting separately?

No. We are proud to provide fully managed, premium business class hosting as part of our servics. It’s included with any of our plan. We do all the maintenance and leg work, upgrades, security patches and more. 

We do this so you can focus on your business.

Do you make custom website modifications?

Yes. Simply let us know in the chat and we’ll hook you up.

Will you move my content from my old website to my BrandEngine website for me?

Yes. Just let us know in the chat and we’ll get you set up. The migration takes about 24-48 hours. After that, your content will be fully transferred to our servers.

We do this for free for paying customers. However, if you have a fairly large site, we might charge an additional one-time fee as it takes more time to move, but this is very rare.

What if I want to cancel?

You can canel anytime. We don’t lock you in to any long-term contracts and we don’t have any cancellation fees either.

After cancelling, you’ll have access to your website until your subscription expires.

Unfortunately, for privacy purposes, we are not able to provide a copy of your website after your subscription ends.

How much do website redesign cost?

Website redesigns are free if you pick from any designs we have in our demo themes. However, if you still want more, we charge a one-time fee of $499. Compare this to the $2,500+ you’ll pay for professional website design services elsewhere.

Can I still accept online payments without upgrading to the premium plans?

Yes. However, you’ll only be able to do this by installing a code snippet provided by your payment gateway of choice.

Our Plus and Premier plans let you take payments a step further by accepting payments through your website forms made with our form builder.
